Kapama Private Game Reserve is situated in the Limpopo Province and was proclaimed a private nature reserve in December 1993. Covering approximately 13 000 hectares of prime big game territory, Kapama Private Game Reserve has succeeded in combining the wilderness of the bush with the comforts of five-star hospitality and facilities. The reserve supports a wide variety of game including elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and large populations of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu. Predators include lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena and many smaller species.

Kapama Lodge can accommodate up to 40 guests in 20 luxurious, air-conditioned, thatched double chalets offering the discerning traveller the very best of an African game lodge experience.  Room amenities include: en suite bath and shower, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer, private safe, complimentary tea/coffee facilities, ceiling fans and room service.

Activities:

Kapama Game Reserve remains the finest incentive destination in the region, the reserve adjacent to Eastgate Airport, can offer both land and water activities and can integrate 12 highly trained elephants into a unique incentive experience. Numerous entertainment areas are available in addition to the lodge areas and include Rhino Inn and Elephant boma. An elephant back safari is an optional extra exclusive to Kapama Game Reserve guests as well as Hot Air Ballooning Safaris.

Getting There:

Kapama Game Reserve is approximately 5,5 hours from Johannesburg by road. Daily flights are available to Eastgate Airport (HDS), transfers are provided in open landrovers directly from the airport.

All year – avoid public holidays.

Health:
