All about Wild Coast Sun Hotel...

Just a two hour drive down the free way south from Durban, across the Umtamvuna River and its suspension bridge, lies the Wild Coast Sun. Set on one of the most unspoiled beaches in Southern Africa, within 750 hectares of natural bush, overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Wild Coasts Sun’s location is hard to beat.
  
Rooms:

264 rooms made up of doubles, twins, family rooms, junior suites, luxury suites, presidential suites and two paraplegic rooms. Accommodation is offered in stylishly decorated rooms that either overlook the panoramic Indian Ocean or the rugged beauty of the championship golf course. Standard amenities and services include DSTV & Maginet, radio, telephone, bath/shower, hairdryer, electric razor plug, air-conditioning, 24-Hour room service, electronic safety deposit boxes, mini bars and tea/coffee machine stations.

Conferencing:

Board Room for 20 delegates, conference facilities for up to 680 delegates and formal dinner for up to 624 guests. Convention Centre consists of 11 venues, two pre-assembly areas, a vast lawn area and the 680 seater Tropical Nites Auditorium. All rooms are equipped with wall-to-wall carpeting, air conditioning and independently controlled light switches, dimmers and telephones. The venue has the necessary PA, sound and AV equipment to run a conference. However, should specialised equipment be required, this can be hired on behalf of the conference.

Activities:

Extensive water sports, golf, horse riding, casino, go-carts, health and beauty salon, squash and tennis. Golf here is a treat. Since it opened (in 1983) this course has been a talking point and has become a fixture on the Sunshine Tour. Hole after hole offers challenges that catch the breath, for there are few venues as beautiful and none more dramatic.

Getting There:

Two hours by road from Durban International Airport or one hour from the smaller Margate Airport.
