East Africa’s largest and best-known resort, Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort is located in a dreamlike setting, on Bamburi Beach in the North coast of Mombasa. 338 rooms in total made up of 112 standard rooms, 146 sea facing rooms, 3 premier, 46 newly renovated palm rooms, 3 Ocean Suites, 3 Acacia suites, 2 Presidential suites and 2 rooms for the physically challenged. All rooms are ensuite with air conditioning, direct dial phones, room safes, blow dryers and satellite TV.

Conferencing:

Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort has extensive conference and banqueting facilities. All conference rooms are fully air conditioned and well equipped. The hotel has 3 conference venues that can cater for up to 400 delegates.

Activities:

Snorkelling off the beach, scuba diving for both the experienced and beginners, jet skiing, golf, volley ball, cycling, camel rides, evening entertainment (acrobats and traditional dancers), tennis courts and tailor made activities for groups.

Getting there:

Kenya airways offer regular scheduled flights from Nairobi to Mombasa. Flight duration is 45minutes. Transfer from the airport to Whitesands is 30min.

Best Time To Travel:

March to May and November are the rainy seasons, otherwise good all year round.

Health:
